Our Cosmetic Dermatology Staff
The Center for Cosmetic Dermatology is staffed by dermatologists who are certified by the American Board of Dermatology and are Fellows of the American Academy of Dermatology. Our support staff members all have extensive knowledge of the skin and hair. Together we share the philosophy that the best place to get advice and treatment to improve the skin's appearance is in a dermatologist's office. At Suzanne Bruce and Associates, we are committed to providing cosmetic procedures based on sound scientific research, not the latest fad.

Maria Antesoda, RN
Joined SBA in 2000
Maria is a Clinical Associate in the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology and has been a practicing nurse since 1995. She has worked in skin care and laser hair removal since 1996. Maria is a graduate of Houston Community College and is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association.
Marcela Ramirez, RN
Joined SBA in 2000
Marcela is a Clinical Associate in the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology and has been a practicing nurse since 2003. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing with high honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in May 2003. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Health in 1999. Marcela is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association.
Courtney Smith, Patient Care Coordinator
Joined SBA in 2005
Courtney is a Patient Care Coordinator in the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology. Our Patient Care Coordinators work with our doctors and patients to facilitate and coordinate our patients' treatment in the cosmetic center and design individual skin care regimens for our patients. Prior to working as a Patient Care Coordinator, she served as a licensed medical assistant in our medical and cosmetic centers. Courtney receives continuing education and training in skin care products and procedures and patient relations. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association.
Krishna Coleman, Patient Care Coordinator

Krishna is a Patient Care Coordinator in the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology. Kim Son Tran
Joined SBA in 2009
Kim Son is the clinical photographer for The Center for Cosmetic Dermatology and The Center for Skin Research. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Photographic Communications with minors in Advertising and Public Relations from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, in May 2009. Prior to joining SBA, Kim Son has worked at Carl Zeiss MicroImaging and Canon USA, Inc. She is a member of the Biomedical Photographic Communications Association.
