Appointment Information
At Suzanne Bruce and Associates, we value your time as much as you do. When you visit us for medical dermatology services in Houston, TX, we realize that you don't want to spend your time filling out forms or waiting. One of our objectives at the Center for Medical Dermatology is to get you in, taken care of, and on your way as quickly as possible.

Patient Registration Forms
To help your appointment run more smoothly, you can download patient forms and fill them out prior to your first visit.
Adolescent Patients
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at their first appointment. If a child arrives without a parent or legal guardian present, their appointment will be rescheduled.
Automated Appointment Reminders
Our automated appointment confirmation system will call your home 2 days prior to your scheduled appointment time to remind you of your appointment. Please listen to the entire message and respond by pressing the number "1" if you want to keep your appointment, or the number "5" if you want to cancel your appointment. Appointment Deposit Policy
For medical appointments, no deposit is required.
Missed Appointment and Cancellation Policy
We realize that unplanned issues come up for all of us. However, respectfully request that you cancel your scheduled appointment by phone or e-mail a minimum of 24 hours in advance. If you do not cancel ahead of time, or you will be assessed an $85.00 missed appointment fee. This fee is not covered by insurance carriers or Medicare and will be your responsibility to pay at the time of your next visit. Our aim here is to open otherwise unused appointments for our patients, not to collect missed appointment fees. Your cooperation and consideration are appreciated.
Appointment Reminders
As a courtesy to our clients, we call to remind you 2 days prior your appointment. An automated appointment reminder system, HouseCalls™, will call you between 6 and 8 p.m. at your primary contact number (usually home) to remind you of your upcoming appointment.
Here's how it works. HouseCalls will call and deliver a message pertaining to your next visit. After you hear your appointment reminder message, you:
- Press 1 to confirm your appointment
- Press 2 to replay the message
- Press 3 to leave a message for the doctor or nurse
- Press 5 to cancel your appointment
We added HouseCalls to provide you a higher level of service and a more efficient means of communication. Additionally, HouseCalls will enable our staff to fully concentrate on serving you during your appointment.
If we have your email address on file, we will also confirm your appointment by e-mail.
