The talented staff of medical practitioners at Suzanne Bruce and Associates offers both cutting-edge cosmetic dermatology and medical dermatology services in Houston, Texas performed with care and a conservative touch. With decades of collective experience, we have been refining and expanding our treatments and services since we opened our doors in 1997. Each of the dermatologists in our Houston practice is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Bruce's physician assistant (PA) is the first-ever Diplomate certified by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants signifying she has achieved the highest honor available as a Dermatology PA. All these professionals participate in the ongoing training of our support staff.

Suzanne Bruce, MD
Founded SBA in 1997
Dr. Bruce has been practicing dermatology since 1985. A graduate of Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine, she completed her dermatology residency training at Baylor. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Texas Dermatological Society and Houston Dermatological Society. She is also a member of the Leaders Society of the Dermatology Foundation. Dr. Bruce is a former Vice President of the Texas Dermatological Society and a former President of the Houston Dermatological Society.
Dr. Bruce serves as a consultant and trainer for leading drug, cosmeceutical, and laser companies. She has been recognized by many organizations for excellence, including Texas Monthly (voted a Top Doctor, 2005 - 2010) and Houston Woman Magazine (one of Houston's 50 Most Influential Women - 2009). She currently serves on the board of directors of the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce.

Syed O. Ali, MD
Joined SBA in 2012
Dr. Ali has been practicing dermatology since 2005. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, he completed his dermatology residency training in 2005 at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. During his years in the Army, Dr. Ali served as a flight surgeon for the State of Texas and as the Chief Medical Officer for the Western Corridor of Korea. In 2008, he served as Chief Medical Officer for Phipps Troop Medical Clinic in Balad, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Houston Dermatological Society.
Bill Doubleday, MD
Joined SBA in 2013
Dr. Doubleday has been practicing dermatology since 1987. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Medical School at Houston (UTMS-Houston), he completed his dermatology residency training at UTMS-Houston. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a member of the Texas Dermatological Society and the Houston Dermatological Society and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Doubleday is a former President of the Houston Dermatological Society.
Dr. Doubleday serves on both the Development Board and the Alumni Association Board of Trustees of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He has been recognized by many organizations for excellence, including Texas Monthly, H Texas and Super Doctors.
Leigh Ellen Eubanks, MD

Dr. Eubanks has been practicing dermatology since 1999. A graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman's College and Tulane University School of Medicine, she completed her dermatology residency training in 1999 at Tulane and her internal medicine residency training in 1990 at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Tracy Katz, MD

Dr. Katz has been practicing dermatology since 2012. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, she completed her dermatology residency training in 2012 at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Houston Dermatological Society and the Women's Dermatologic Society.
Holly Singletary, MD

Dr. Singletary has been practicing dermatology since 2011. A graduate of Texas A&M University and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, she completed her dermatology residency training in 2011 at Duke University. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Houston Dermatological Society and the Women's Dermatologic Society.
April Harrison, MPAS, PA-C
Joined SBA in 2005
April has been a practicing physician assistant since 2000 and has worked in dermatology since 2001. She received her bachelor of science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) Diplomate. In fact, April is the first PA to ever receive SDPA Diplomate status. This designation indicates that she has achieved the highest honor available as a Dermatology PA. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
