Our Practitioners
The talented staff of medical practitioners at Suzanne Bruce and Associates offers both cutting-edge cosmetic dermatology and medical dermatology services in Houston, Texas performed with care and a conservative touch. With decades of collective experience, we have been refining and expanding our treatments and services since we opened our doors in 1997. Each of the dermatologists in our Houston practice is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Bruce's physician assistant (PA) is the first-ever Diplomate certified by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants signifying she has achieved the highest honor available as a Dermatology PA, and our nurse practitioner is one of only a handful of Texas dermatology certified nurse practitioners (DCNP). All these professionals participate in the ongoing training of our support staff.

Suzanne Bruce, MD
Founded SBA in 1997
Dr. Bruce has been practicing dermatology since 1985. A graduate of Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine, she completed her dermatology residency training at Baylor. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Texas Dermatological Society and Houston Dermatological Society. She is also a member of the Leaders Society of the Dermatology Foundation. Dr. Bruce is a former Vice President of the Texas Dermatological Society and a former President of the Houston Dermatological Society.
Dr. Bruce serves as a consultant and trainer for leading drug, cosmeceutical, and laser companies. She has been recognized by many organizations for excellence, including Texas Monthly (voted a Top Doctor, 2005 - 2010) and Houston Woman Magazine (one of Houston's 50 Most Influential Women - 2009). She currently serves on the board of directors of the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce.
Leigh Ellen Eubanks, MD
Joined SBA in 1999
Dr. Eubanks has been practicing dermatology since 1999. A graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman's College and Tulane University School of Medicine, she completed her dermatology residency training in 1999 at Tulane and her internal medicine residency training in 1990 at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Holly Singletary, MD
Joined SBA in 2011
Dr. Singletary is a graduate of Texas A&M and the University of Texas School of Medicine at
Houston. She completed her dermatology residency at Duke University in 2011, where she served her
final year as chief resident. Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, she is also a
member of the American Academy of Dermatology, The Women's Dermatologic Society, The American
Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Houston Dermatologic Society.
April Harrison, MPAS, PA-C
Joined SBA in 2005
April has been a practicing physician assistant since 2000 and has worked in dermatology since 2001. She received her bachelor of science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) Diplomate. In fact, April is the first PA to ever receive SDPA Diplomate status. This designation indicates that she has achieved the highest honor available as a Dermatology PA. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
