| CURRENT ACTINIC KERATOSES STUDIES The Center for Skin Research is the dermatological research division of Suzanne Bruce and Associates. Dr. Bruce and her other physicians are board-certified dermatologists. The Center was founded in 1999 and conducts clinical research trials for major pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations seeking Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval. We are currently seeking participants for the following actinic keratoses studies. Actinic Keratoses (also called solar keratosis, senile keratosis, or AK) is a skin condition of thick, scaly, discolored bumps on the skin. Actinic Keratosis is caused by prolonged exposure to the sun and most often occurs in fair-skinned persons. When left untreated, it can often lead to skin cancer. AKs -- FACE OR SCALP Male or female subjects, at least 18 years of age, with 4 or more actinic keratoses (AKs) on the face or scalp are needed. Six visits are required during this 24-week study. Investigational topical cream will be evaluated in this AK study. ACTINIC KERATOSES (AKs) Eligible participants will treat their precancerous lesions on the face and/or front portion of the scalp with an investigational or marketed topical cream for 16 weeks, followed by an 8-week follow-up period. Must be at least 18 years old in general good health. Have questions or want to sign up?
