The Center for Skin Research is the dermatological research division of Suzanne Bruce and Associates. Dr. Bruce and her other physicians are board-certified dermatologists. The Center was founded in 1999 and conducts clinical research trials for major pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations seeking Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval.
We are currently seeking participants for the following eyelash growth studies.
PEDIATRIC AND ADOLESCENT EYELASH GROWTH STUDY
If your child is between 5 and 17 years of age and has experienced a reduction in fullness, darkness, length or number of eyelashes following cancer chemotherapy, he/she may qualify for a 5-month research study in the Houston Galleria area. Participants should have completed their chemotherapy treatment for cancer at least 4 weeks but no more than 24 weeks prior to the study beginning and is now post-chemotherapy or on maintenance chemotherapy. Qualified participants will receive at no cost: study-related assessments of their condition by a dermatologist and ophthalmologist, study-related physical exams, topical investigational medication or placebo (inactive substance), and compensation for participation.
