The Center for Skin Research is the dermatological research division of Suzanne Bruce and Associates. Dr. Bruce and her other physicians are board-certified dermatologists. The Center was founded in 1999 and conducts clinical research trials for major pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations seeking Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval.
We are currently seeking participants for the following psoriasis studies. Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease consisting of dry, red itchy patches of skin mainly occurring on the scalp, arms and legs. Depending on the type of psoriasis, patients may have pustules, or raised, puss-filled bumps.
OPEN-LABEL STUDY -- MODERATE TO SEVERE PSORIASIS
Male or female psoriatics, between 18 and 80 years old, are needed to participate in this 12-week study. Between 3 and 20% body surface area involvement is required. All eligible subjects will receive active, topical medication. Five visits are required.
MILD TO MODERATE PSORIASIS
Psoriatics, at least 12 years of age, with between 2 and 20% involvement, are needed to participate in this 8-week topical investigational treatment research study. Four visits are required. Compensation available for time and travel.
