Our Dermatology Research Staff
Since 1999, Suzanne Bruce and Associates in Houston has been performing dermatology research for pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical product companies and laser manufacturers. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff of medical professionals works closely with our board-certified dermatologists and our other medical practitioners to test investigational drugs, products and treatment devices for a wide range of skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, thinning eyelashes, rosacea, and skin aging.

Brian Murry
Joined us in 2012
Brian Murry is the Director of Clinical Research for The Center for Skin Research. He has been working in healthcare and research since 2002 and has 5 years of experience in clinical trials research. He received both his Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and his Masters of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Louisiana State University and his Masters in Business Administration from Rice University. He is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. He is also a member of the Society for Clinical Research Sites.
Sandra Nero, CRC
Joined us in 2000
Sandy is a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) for The Center for Skin Research and serves as the regulatory manager for the site. She has been working in dermatology since 1988 and has 27 years of experience in clinical trials research. She received her Associates Degree in Applied Science from Erie Community College, Williamsville, NY. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses' Association and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Jasmine Leung, BSN-RN, CRC
Joined us in 1999
Jasmine is a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator and the clinical research nurse for The Center for Skin Research. She has worked in dermatology since 1990 and has 17 years of experience in clinical trials research. Jasmine has been a practicing nurse since 1979. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to joining Suzanne Bruce and Associates, Jasmine was a clinical research coordinator at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Department of Dermatology. She is a member and past President of the Dermatology Nurses' Association and is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Amy Fletcher, CRC, CCRP

Amy is a Clinical Research Coordinator for The Center for Skin Research. She has worked in dermatology since 2008 and has 8 years of experience in clinical trials research. She has been a Certified Clinical Research Professional since 2007. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, TX. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses' Association, Society of Clinical Research Associates and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Sue Shannon

Sue is a Clinical Research Coordinator Assistant for The Center for Skin Research. She has worked in dermatology since 1998 and has 5 years of experience in clinical trials research. Prior to joining the research division, she served as the clinical supervisor for SBA's medical and cosmetic centers. She received her medical assistant degree from the Texas School of Business, Houston, TX. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses' Association and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Amanda Herod

Amanda is a Clinical Research Assistant for The Center for Skin Research. She has worked in clinical research since 2012 and has a year of experience in dermatology. Prior to joining SBA, she spent 5 years with Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN, working in the acute cardiac care units and the post-anesthesia care unit. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology with a minor in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, TN. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurses' Association and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Donna Zawada
Joined us in 2009
Donna is the Clinical Research Recruiter for The Center for Skin Research. She has worked in dermatology since 2009 and has 8 years of experience in clinical trials research. Prior to joining SBA, she was a healthcare professional recruiter and spent 7 years with Baylor College of Medicine, Pathology Research Division. She received her Associates of Science in Business Administration from Ashworth College, Norcross, Georgia. She is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Jessica Guerrero

Jessica is our bilingual Clinical Research Recruiter for The Center for Skin Research. She is new to clinical research and dermatology. Prior to joining SBA, she was a healthcare professional at Ben Taub Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Art History from University of Houston-Downtown. She is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Kim Son Tran
Joined us in 2009
Kim Son is a Clinical Photographer for The Center for Cosmetic Dermatology and The Center for Skin Research. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Photographic Communications with minors in Advertising & Public Relations from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY. Prior to joining Suzanne Bruce and Associates, Kim Son worked at Carl Zeiss MicroImaging and Canon USA. She is a member of the Biomedical Photographic Communications Association.
