By now, you’re probably already familiar with CoolSculpting and its possibilities. You may have even had it done yourself. But ZELTIQ®, the manufacturers of CoolSculpting, is continuing to make the procedure more accessible. That’s the idea behind CoolAdvantage.

Introduced in March, CoolAdvantage is an exciting 3-in-1 applicator that can be used to freeze a greater variety of treatment areas and adjusts to suit more body types. It all adds up to faster, more satisfying results, and I’m thrilled to offer it to my CoolSculpting patients here in Houston.

As a dermatologist, my first priority when considering adding a treatment to the practice is the wellness and safety of my patients. Because I already trust the safety and efficacy of CoolSculpting, I’m so glad to be able to serve even more people with CoolAdvantage. Let’s explore what’s new:

The Applicators

CoolFit Advantage™: Created to treat areas of “vertical” fat, the CoolFit Advantage applicator is designed for quicker results on a larger surface area, such as the inner thighs.

CoolCore Advantage™: A great match for the unique contours of the abdomen, CoolCore Advantage takes a more specialized approach to one of CoolSculpting’s most common treatment areas.

CoolCurve+ Advantage™: As the name suggests, CoolCurve+ is ideal for the curvy areas of the body. It’s particularly adept at helping men and women alike shrink their flanks, or love handles.

The Advantage

	Shorter treatment times: CoolSculpting Advantage has been cleared by the FDA to operate at a lower temperature than traditional CoolSculpting. Cooler translates to quicker: This advancement, coupled with the applicators’ enhanced shapes, offers maximum effectiveness in as little as 35 minutes.
	Larger treatment area: With their expansion to new shapes, CoolAdvantage applicators can address more areas of the body than ever before, offering patients more ways to treat more areas with stubborn fat deposits.
	More comfortable design: In the same vein, the varied, specialized designs of the CoolAdvantage applicators make them better suited for even the most challenging curves and contours.
	Effectiveness on different bodies: Newly designed applicators mean that a larger variety of people can successfully undergo CoolSculpting safely and effectively. This means that if you previously dismissed CoolSculpting because you weren’t sure of your candidacy, now is a great time to take a second look.

Overall, CoolAdvantage is another way to deliver the exciting results of the CoolSculpting cryolipolysis treatment. We love performing CoolSculpting because it can safely and comfortably reshape areas of the body that our patients have struggled with. It remains the best noninvasive approach to stubborn fatty bulges — wherever they may be.
