As part of its outreach to patients in the greater Houston area, Suzanne Bruce and Associates has opened a second office in Katy with a range of dermatology services, both cosmetic and medical. The facility’s doors opened in September.
Houston, Texas (October 2013) — Free skin cancer screening on Oct. 30 is one of the ways Suzanne Bruce and Associates (www.sba-skincare.com) is celebrating the recent opening of its Katy location, where dermatology services and non-surgical face and body sculpting procedures such as Ultherapy® and CoolSculpting® are offered.
Dr. Bruce opened the Katy facility at 23510 Kingsland Blvd., Suite 300, and celebrated with an open house earlier this month, when 300 existing and new patients toured the impressive new offices and took advantage of specials.
“This second location caters to suburban residents who are looking for a high level of care but who want the convenience of not having to drive into the city,” says Dr. Bruce, a nationally respected dermatologist from the Houston area.
Her practice’s original office is in the Galleria area of Houston, and it features cosmetic and medical dermatology services as well as a skin research facility. Clinical research is in integral part of the practice, which has a goal of improving the skin health of its own patients and others.
The upcoming skin cancer screening event, which is open to the public, extends the same type of community outreach Dr. Bruce displays in Houston. Skin cancer is the most diagnosed type of cancer in the U.S., but it is also the most treatable when caught early.
“If you’ve never been screened for skin cancer, this is an excellent opportunity to establish a baseline examination,” Dr. Bruce says. “People who know what to look for, such as slight changes to existing moles, are often the people who get their skin cancer diagnosed earlier.”
The practice also offers cosmetic dermatology services such as laser treatments, intense pulsed light facial rejuvenation, and injections of dermal fillers and BOTOX® Cosmetic, available in Houston and Katy.
Dr. Bruce will serve patients in the new office, as will Dr. C. William Doubleday, Dr. Syed O. Ali, and a staff of highly trained aestheticians. The décor is meant to be warm and luxurious, with artwork by Houston artist Dixie Friend Gay in a modern and eco-friendly building.
“After planning this expansion for so long, we’re so excited to have the office open and to see new faces and treat old friends,” Dr. Bruce says. “We’ve been looking forward to better serving the greater Houston area, including Katy, and are happy to be open.”
Suzanne Bruce and Associates will also take part in the YMCA Turkey Run and will offer free sunscreen and sun education at its booth on Thanksgiving Day.
