Restylane®

Restylane treatments at our Houston dermatology center help improve signs of facial aging, including fine lines and wrinkles. The FDA-approved Restylane product line includes injectable dermal fillers that treat age-related conditions by adding volume beneath the skin. We are one of the top Restylane accounts in the United States.

Your Beautiful Skin

Our team of highly skilled, board-certified dermatologists and skin care professionals will evaluate your skin, discuss your goals, and help determine if Restylane is a good option for you.

Restylane products are very effective for many of our patients and can address the following concerns:

  • Nasolabial folds
  • Thinning lips
  • Vertical lip lines
  • Lipstick lines
  • Volume loss in the cheeks
  • Laugh lines

Your Options

The Restylane fillers we offer for Houston residents are made without animal products, so allergy tests are not necessary before treatment.

Restylane® adds volume to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles. It works best on nasolabial folds, the lines from the nose to the corners of your mouth and can also augment the lips. Results typically last about 6 months to 1 year, depending on the treatment area.

Restylane® Silk is specifically designed for subtle lip enhancement and to smooth wrinkles around the mouth. Results last approximately 6 months.

Restylane® Kysse, is the latest Galderma filler to use XpresHAn Technology™ specifically designed for volumizing lips and softening lines around the lips. Results last approximately 1 year.

Restylane® Lyft can give patients fuller, younger-looking cheeks. It can also correct age-related midface contour deficiencies. These natural-looking results can last up to 1 year.

Restylane® Refyne and Defyne both use XpresHAn Technology™ to soften laugh lines and correct other wrinkles that appear with certain facial expressions. Results last approximately 1 year, and the duration of your treatment can be extended with maintenance treatments.

Recovery

Restylane itself has minimal side effects, but some patients may experience common injection-related reactions, such as slight swelling, redness, tenderness, or itching near the injection site. These issues typically resolve within a few days.

Improvements from Restylane are instant, appointments are quick, and there is no required downtime. You can resume normal daily activities immediately after treatment, which many patients schedule during their lunch breaks or in between errands.

Getting the Most from Restylane

Many of our patients make Restylane treatments a regular part of their beauty routine by visiting us for periodic touch-ups and treatments. This usually happens on a recurring schedule about every 6 to 12 months, depending on the product used. We offer various specials and loyalty programs that benefit our repeat patients. We also offer CareCredit which makes it easy to follow through with your recommended treatment plan while paying over time.

Often Asked

How long does it take Restylane treatments to work?

Most sessions last less than an hour and begin to work almost immediately. You will start to notice added volume and smoother skin before you leave the appointment. You will continue to see improvement over the next several days.

Does Restylane hurt?

Restylane fillers come formulated with lidocaine, a trusted anesthetic that makes the injections more comfortable. Treatments are typically quick, and most patients do not experience any lingering discomfort.

Can Restylane products be combined with other treatments?

We often combine dermal fillers like Restylane with BOTOX injections for more comprehensive facial rejuvenation treatment.

Who should not use Restylane?

Restylane is safe for most patients; however, it should not be used by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Additionally, patients should not use Restylane if they have had bad reactions to other hyaluronic acid fillers or are allergic to lidocaine.
