Perméa™ Laser Skin Treatment in Houston & Katy

Freckles and brown spots, also referred to as hyperpigmentation, are early signs of skin aging and give the skin an uneven, blotchy look. This condition is a result of sun damage, hormonal fluctuations or both. In extreme cases, some people experience sharply demarcated brown patches called melasma, which is often associated with hormonal changes during pregnancy.

We have an effective procedure for these early signs of skin aging and melasma. It is called Perméa and is a combination fractional laser skin resurfacing and topical antioxidant treatment. Perméa is especially designed to improve skin brightness, even out skin tone and improve skin texture – all with little or no downtime. The treatment is performed in our Houston and Katy cosmetic centers and can improve the appearance of the face, neck, chest, arms and hands. We also recommend periodic Perméa treatments for our Fraxel® and Perméa patients who want to maintain their results. Skin care product regimens that include skin lightening agents can also help with brown spots.

To find out more about Perméa or other treatment options, request a consultation or call our office at (713) 850-0240.

A series of 6 treatments can help restore brightness and evenness to your skin. This success stems from a process that involves treating the skin with the laser followed immediately by application of an effective antioxidant. At the end of your appointment a cooling mask is applied to help soothe the treated area, reduce redness faster and minimize your downtime. Treatments are spaced approximately 2 weeks apart but can be tailored to meet your individual needs with no loss of efficacy.
