Where are you from and where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in New York City, which holds a special place in my heart.
Why did you choose dermatology?
My personal experience with atopic dermatitis, combined with my love for science, visual learning style, passion for helping people, and desire to make a positive impact on society, led me to choose dermatology as my career path. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills to enhance the lives of individuals.
What aspects of dermatology do you love?
I have a strong interest in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. In medical dermatology, I particularly enjoy diagnosing and treating conditions like acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. Additionally, I find great fulfillment in conducting clinical research within the field of dermatology, allowing me to stay at the forefront of the latest treatments and advancements, and contribute to improving patient care. Cosmetic dermatology brings me great enjoyment as it allows me to utilize advanced techniques and state-of-the-art technology. I have the opportunity to assist patients in achieving their desired aesthetic goals and help them feel more confident. Witnessing the transformative impact these treatments can have on individuals' lives brings me immense satisfaction.
What is your practice philosophy? How do you want your patients to feel after a visit with you?
My practice philosophy in dermatology is centered around personalized care and delivering the most up-to-date and best possible treatments for my patients. I believe in taking the time to understand each individual's unique needs, concerns, and goals, and tailoring treatment plans accordingly. By staying informed about the latest advancements and research in dermatology, I strive to provide my patients with cutting-edge therapies and techniques that yield optimal results. My commitment is to deliver comprehensive, compassionate care while maintaining a patient-centered approach throughout their dermatological journey.
What do you love to treat or what aesthetic treatments do you specialize in?
I enjoy helping patients feel more confident and satisfied with their skin. My passion lies in enhancing their natural beauty through aesthetic procedures. I specialize in a range of treatments, including botox and filler, laser and light therapies, non-surgical skin tightening devices, non- surgical fat reduction devices, and body contouring.
How long have you been practicing and where?
I have been practicing medicine for 7 years. I completed my internship at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. Following that, I pursued my residency and fellowship in Dermatology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Most recently, I have been in private practice in Austin,TX and now excited to start serving the Houston, TX area.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy traveling. One of my most cherished travel memories was the surreal experience of swimming in a bioluminescent lagoon at night in Puerto Rico. It was a mesmerizing encounter with nature's beauty. Alongside my love for exploration, I am a foodie, constantly seeking out new restaurants and indulging in exciting culinary experiences. To relax, I go on walks, attend fitness classes, and meditate.

She stays up to date with the newest treatments in medical and cosmetic dermatology as an investigator in clinical trials. She is also fluent in Spanish.
