We are very excited to have the newest hyaluronic acid (HA) filler, Juvéderm Vollure® XC, in our office! This new product is made by Allergan, the same company that brought you Botox® Cosmetic, Juvéderm®, Voluma®, Volbella® and Kybella®. Vollure is the first HA filler to be FDA approved that last up to 18 months! Next to Voluma, which lasts up to 2 years, Sculptra® and Bellafill®, Vollure is one of the longest lasting fillers on the market! It uses advanced Vycross™ technology, (similar to Voluma) which helps with gel duration and adds extremely natural looking volume to moderate skin folds like the nasolabial folds, otherwise known as the parenthesis around our mouth.
I personally am thrilled with Vollure because it goes in very smoothly and with gentle massage it is easily moldable to get the results my patients are looking for. A couple of weeks ago, I treated my mom with just one syringe and before and after photos look amazing! She experienced minimum to no discomfort and she reported no bruising after the treatment. Just a small amount took years off her face. Now, she has a natural fresh look to her that will last over a year and half! Check out her before and afters:
I have already consulted patients on using this as their filler of choice or combining it with Voluma and or Volbella to help achieve a more dramatic, yet still very natural, result. By customizing a plan for each individual patient, depending on their loss of volume, I am confident we can give our patients a beautiful natural look that they will love for over a year! If you would like to learn more, please call the office and schedule a consult with me or one of my fantastic colleagues.
