Minimally invasive and yielding long-lasting results, FDA-cleared Cellfina is clinically proven to reduce stubborn cellulite. Cellfina, offered in our Houston, Texas, office, goes beneath the skin to treat the structural causes of cellulite. The result leaves patients with smooth contours that last.
Cellulite: A Quick Overview
Cellulite is caused by connective bands woven throughout the fat in our bodies. These bands pull down the skin, creating the dimples we know as cellulite, usually on the buttocks and legs.
Cellfina works by precisely targeting these bands with a tiny microblade inserted just below the skin, encouraging the bands to untether and then break. Similar to a rubber band, the treated skin “bounces back,” smoothing itself out in as little as 3 days.
Your Beautiful Skin
We can safely and effectively use Cellfina on the buttocks and thighs to create a smoother, more rejuvenated appearance that’s visible in as little as 30 days. Cellfina treatment consists of a single visit that lasts about 1 hour, depending on the amount of dimpling in the area you choose to treat.
Results from Cellfina last at least 3 years — the longest FDA clearance for a cellulite treatment. In clinical studies, patients reported high rates of satisfaction with their treatment results. At 3 months, 85% of patients were satisfied; after one year, 94% of patients were satisfied, surpassing patient satisfaction rates versus other leading cellulite treatments.
When we assess your skin and plan your treatment at Suzanne Bruce and Associates, we can also recommend other or combinations of body contouring and skin tightening services that may help you achieve your goals, such as CoolSculpting®, VelaShape™, or Thermage®.

What to Expect
Before treating the selected areas, we apply a local anesthetic as a numbing agent to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Some results will be visible on day 3, but optimal results will be seen after 30 days.
There is little to no downtime with Cellfina, so you can return quickly to your normal activities. Side effects are generally minor and may include redness, some bruising, soreness, and tenderness. All of these usually disappear quickly. There is no special care needed after treatment.
Does Cellfina hurt?
Cellfina is performed using an extremely small blade. Coupled with a local anesthetic, Cellfina is a very comfortable procedure with minimal discomfort, allowing patients to get back to most of their normal activities as soon as their appointments are over.
Will my cellulite come back?
Studies have shown that Cellfina patients are still satisfied with their results years after treatment. So while it’s possible that cellulite will come back, it is likely that you will enjoy your results for quite a while. The best way to prolong your results is to maintain a healthy lifestyle and follow your aftercare instructions.
How much does Cellfina cost?
Here in Houston, the cost of a Cellfina treatment varies significantly between patients, depending on the extent of the procedure. For this reason, it’s not possible to offer a specific figure before we meet you in person. During your consultation, we’ll draft a quote that reflects your specific procedure.Back to Top
